A COMPANY is recalling one of its products because of a possible contamination with cleaning products.
Lactalis Nestlé Chilled Dairy UK recalls a batch of Nescafé Shakissimo Espresso Latte 190ml because of contamination with residues of a cleaning solution.
The products that is being recalled are 190ml packs with a use by date of January 26, 2021.
The product has been contaminated with cleaning solution containing hydrogen peroxide which may make the product unsafe to drink.
Lactalis Nestlé Chilled Dairy UK is recalling the product. Point of sale notices will be displayed in all retail stores that are selling this product.
These notices explain to customers why the product is being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the product.
If you have bought the product do not drink it. Instead, return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund. The FSA issues Product Withdrawal Information Notices and Product Recall Information Notices to let consumers know about problems.
