Egremont Crab Fair Committee is helping to make sure Santa makes an appearance for children in Egremont.
Callum Scott, from the committee, said Santa’s visits around the town would begin on Monday December 7. Santa will set off in Thornhill at 6pm and be out until 8pm.
He will then go out every night, from 6pm to 8pm, until he has covered the whole town.
Callum said they would be covering: Thornhill, Orgill, Castle Croft, Gully Flats, Dale View Gardens, Brisco Mount, Dent View, North Road, Smithfield, The Pastures and surrounding areas.
The committee will also be giving out 800 selection boxes next week, through the primary schools. Callum added: “I’d like to thank the community for our support this year and over previous years.”
