In support of their 273 members, Carlisle Ambassadors’ is freezing their membership fees until April 2021.

Carlisle Ambassadors’ is a strong network that includes representatives from a variety of businesses and individuals. First established in January 2014, it is supported by Carlisle City Council.

Even though Carlisle Ambassador face to face meetings aren't going ahead due to Covid-19 restrictions, members can get use of the other benefits including the interactive website directory, social media shout outs, Zoom meetings and more.

Michelle Masters, Carlisle Ambassadors project lead, said: “We want to do our bit to support local businesses and have frozen the membership fee until next April, as we know the financial pressures our members are experiencing. Carlisle Ambassadors’ is a strong and well-established network of business professionals and we need to do all we can to help each other during these extremely challenging times.”

Carlisle City Council has supported the decision to freeze the fees. Councillor John Mallinson, Leader of Carlisle City Council, said: “It’s only right that during these unprecedented times that we do all we can to help local businesses. By being part of Carlisle Ambassadors there’s access to professional support when it’s most needed. If you’re not already a member, consider joining up.”

New members are encouraged to sign up for free. To find out more about becoming a member visit www.carlisleambassadors.co.uk or email info@carlisleambassadors.co.uk.
