A BARROW woman is beginning a fitness themed fundraiser in an effort to support two important charitable causes.

Fitness specialist Rebbecca Bell is aiming to raise £500 to in aid of Animal Refuge Furness and The Barrow and Districts Society for the Blind.

The fundraiser will include a series of ten fitness videos that can be done at home.

Rebbecca’s videos will begin from December 10 and continue for ten days onward. The workouts last for 20 minutes and requires no kit or equipment.

The owner of Transfigure, a business that has been in operation for five years, Rebbecca’s fundraiser has reached £490 as of today.

She has taken part in challenges such as Tough Mudder, The Great North Run and Rave to Remember.

Rebbecca said: “I am so grateful for the support I receive from my members as a small local business, that I feel strongly about trying to give back to our community whenever I can.

“I asked my Facebook followers to nominate charities close to their hearts and picked 2 from the list that we can hopefully help a little in these testing times.

Her fundraiser received 45 donations over a twenty-four-hour period.
