Lonsdale Alhambra cinema at Middlegate, Penrith is getting ready to reopen.
They are delighted to be able to open a day earlier than planned.
The cinema was due to reopen on December 3, but can now open on Wednesday December 2, to the relief of the Alhambra team.
Their booking system is now open for bookings for December 2 and 3.
They will open with Christmas Carol (PG) on December 2 and December 3 at 5.15pm.
The 90 minute film tells the classic Christmas tale, which unfolds in a rich tapestry of highly absorbing theatrical drama featuring sumptuous visual effects, inspired by the techniques of early cinema.
In a daring twist of format, characters are portrayed by dancers and voiced by an eclectic cast of the world's most famous recognisable actors.
Throughout December they will be showing: Rocky, Die Hard, Gremlins, A Christmas Carol, A Christmas gift from Bob, Katherine Jenkins: Christmas Spectacular, An Honest Thief, Love Actually.
