Moor Row Community School is seeking residents' support by asking them to leave unwanted items of clothing in a purple collection bin in the school car park.
They are collecting men's, women's and children's clothes, shoes (tied together), hats, belts, handbags and soft toys, scarves and ties, jewellery, lingerie, socks, household linen, household curtains, household towels, household bedding (bed sheets, pillow cases and duvet covers).
They can not take duvets and blankets, pillows and cushions, carpets, rugs and mats (including bath, shower and toilet mats), soiled, painted, ripped or wet clothing, school uniforms with and without logos, corporate clothing and workwear, textile offcuts, yarns or threaded material.
Collections are made every week day, 8.45am to 3.15pm.
