In this week's Pets Rehoming column, we meet two adorable pets who are both looking for a forever home. Whether it is a trooper you are looking for or an adventurous young pet, Oak Tree Animals Charity have a pet for all personalities!

XENA

Meet Xena, Oak Tree's own little warrior princess.

This affectionate lady is definitely a trooper and, as she hasn't had the best start in life, Xena is searching for a furever home where she can finally put her paws up. Xena is extremely intelligent and is picking up training and games-based learning very quickly. She also loves a fuss and attention and enjoys nothing more than belly scratches!

Due to an old injury to her knee, Xena is unable to walk for any duration of time. Therefore, a large and secure garden is a necessity for her in her new home. Owners must also be prepared to continue her training and to provide plenty of mental stimulation for her. Whilst she does not let this ailment slow her down, Xena will need to be on pain medication to manage it. She is a wee whirlwind and so a quiet environment with lots of enrichment is essential for Xena. She would like to be the only dog in the house but Xena could possibly live with a dog-savvy cat.

Could your home be this warrior princess’ forever home?

NOVA

Nova is a sweet 3 year old girl who is looking for a new home where she can spend her days exploring outside but cuddle up on the sofa at night.

The ideal home for Nova will be with adults or older children only as she likes her own space at times.

Nova could potentially live with a cat-friendly dog but would prefer a home with no cats.

Do you have a little space on your sofa for this super Nova?
