There are not many individuals who you could call a bona fide living legend but, in the case of glam rock icon Sir Elton John, such high praise is apt.
In June 2007, Carlisle United’s Brunton Park was transformed to welcome the arrival of the world-famous superstar and we look back at the momentous occasion in today’s gallery.
The iconic hitmaker played a set that included classics such as Rocket Man, Tiny Dancer, Your Song and Something About The Way You Look Tonight, wowing his dedicated fans with his stunning back catalogue of hits.
For those who were present, the memories of the night under the lights at Brunton Park will undoubtedly stand out as particularly fond memories.
