A FLOOD alert is still in place for a section of the Cumbrian coast.
The Enviroment Agency has put out the alert primarily for low lying land, roads and coastal paths at "Mossband Hall, Eden estuary, Burgh Marsh, Port Carlisle, Bowness-on-Solway, Wampool estuary, Waver estuary, Skinburness Marsh, Skinburness and Silloth".
A spokesman said "High water level is expected to affect the foreshore as a result of high spring tides and wind.
He added: "We are closely monitoring the situation.
"Our incident response staff are closing flood gates.
"Please plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
"he high tide on Tuesday early afternoon, is also likely to reach the Flood Alert criteria."
