SNHS Dumfries & Galloway give update on Covid-19 cases in the region
NHS Dumfries & Galloway have recorded a coronavirus death.
It was also announced that 50 news cases were identified in the week ending October 4.
A spokeswoman for the organisation said: A continuing increase is being recorded in the number of covid-19 cases being documented and very sadly with a further death in recent days.
"Anyone experiencing the symptoms of COVID-19 should immediately self-isolate and get a test."
