A CARLISLE man has been ordered to pay more than £300 after he damaged a police cell.
Barry Doswell caused damage valued at £120 to a cell belonging to Cumbria Constabulary in Carlisle.
The offence took place on July 9.
Doswell, of Thurstonfield near Carlisle, admitted the charge before Carlisle’s magistrates’ court on Wednesday.
He was fined £100, was ordered to pay £120 in compensation, a £34 surcharge to fund victim services and £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
