A blaze at a waste site was tackled by multiple fire crews.
The day team from Penrith Fire Station were called to the incident at about 4.50pm yesterday, facing a fire in the open at Flusco landfill site.
The flames were described as "a largely developing fire" by the crew, and it was extinguished using hose reel jets and foam.
Crews from Penrith On-Call and Shap were also called to help tackle the fire, as well as the water bowser.
