A PROPERTY in Whitehaven has been broken into for the fourth time in four months.

An appeal for witnesses has been shared following the night-time burglary in Hensingham.

Officers urge anyone with information to come forward after the latest raid, on September 18.

In that incident, offenders took two compactor plates and a vehicle was heard driving away.

In the previous three incidents, offenders entered the building and stole other various tools.

Officers are encouraging residents to be vigilant, to report any suspicious activity to the police and to ensure they maintain security on their homes and outbuildings at all times.
