A Workington woman has been spared jail after she admitted harassing a neighbour.
Katrina Jane Brenda Swaine, 30, of South William Street,
admitted harassing another woman by swearing, causing noise nuisance and distress to her between July and September of this year.
Swaine was committed to prison for 84 days, suspended for 18 months.
Magistrates said that although it was a case of sustained abuse on a neighbour, she was accessing mental health treatment.
Swaine also admitted using threatening or abusive words or behaviour towards another on September 15.
The court ordered her to attend appointments with a responsible officer for up to 20 days.
She was also handed a restraining order.
Swaine must pay £85 court costs and £122 victim surcharge.
