Temporary road closure for four days
A TEMPORARY road closure is in place in Whitehaven, for carriageway surfacing works.
The Lakeland Avenue roundabout, Woodhouse, G110/20/C172 road will be closed from September 21 for approximately four days.
This will affect several roads in Woodhouse and may cause traffic delays.
Roads affected are Lakeland Avenue Roundabout, Rydal Avenue, Loweswater Avenue and Fell View Avenue.
An alternative route will be available via the unrestricted sections of Lakeland Avenue, Rydal Avenue, Loweswater Avenue, Fell View Avenue and surrounding streets, Woodhouse Road, Ennerdale Terrace and High Road.
A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.
