Mountain rescue teams were called to help a teenage mountain biker who had injured himself.
Penrith Mountain Rescue Team were called to help the 19-year-old at Askham Fell last week.
A spokesman for the team said: "Upon arrival, team members swiftly packaged the casualty into a vacuum mattress and placed him onto the stretcher. The casualty was then carried a short distance to an awaiting North West Ambulance Service crew. He was transported to Carlisle Infirmary."
