A LOCAL council has announced a £312,000 fund for key civic and community initiatives.
Dumfries & Galloway Council said the fund was established after its four local area committees met earlier this month, to set local priorities.
They now seek expressions of interest from local community groups to deliver events, festivals, galas, sport.
Councillor Elaine Murray, council leader, said: “We’re delighted it's available to our area committees to support local priorities.”
Councillor Rob Davidson, deputy leader said: “It's a great way to deliver local initiatives.”
