With excitement building ahead of the October arrival of the GR Yaris and the success of the previous tour dates, more than 40 locations were announced for the new model’s summer tour of Toyota retailers, and local Toyota dealers, Myers and Bowman, Lillyhall, Workington, are delighted to be able show the new GR Yaris to customers.

In Cumbria, the GR range is exclusive to Myers and Bowman, who will have the GR Yaris on show this weekend, Friday and Saturday, September 25-26, as part of a national tour, which started at the end of August and continues through to October 13, allowing potential customers to take a first close-up look at the model “in the metal”.

News and Star:

The eagerly anticipated GR Yaris is a true performance “homologation special”, honed and developed from Toyota Gazoo Racing’s World Rally Championship-winning experience.

Brian Richardson, sales manager at Myers and Bowman, can't wait to get a first-hand look at the new GR, saying "I'm tempted to buy one myself, it's a cracking looking car."

Added Brian: "The reviews have been fantastic, with the critics describing the car as Toyota's best hot hatch ever.

"It has three doors, a rarity for Toyota, and it’s a four-wheel drive, too. Those who have had the opportunity to test drive it have been drooling over its power and performance. It looks like the GR Yaris is setting a new benchmark for hot hatches.

“And it looks stunning, too.”

News and Star:

The GR Yaris won't be available until the end of the year and anyone interested in owning one will need to place an order to secure their purchase.

Myers and Bowman will take charge of the GR Yaris for two days (25-26 September 25-26), giving prospective buyers a rare opportunity to take a closer look, and to discover for themselves why the GR is causing so much excitement. Myers and Bowman are inviting customers to make a personal appointment to visit, giving them plenty of time to take in the detail and learn more from the specialist sales teams about how the GR Yaris has been developed, its performance and equipment specifications.

The cars are pre-production models and will be on static display only. Details of driving opportunities in production-ready cars will be announced at a future date.
