Police are investigating after a vehicle was set on fire, causing damage to a house.

Officers believe the fire to be deliberate.

The incident of arson took place on Hopeshill Drive, Carlisle, in the early hours of yesterday (September 15).

A vehicle parked outside a house was set on fire, causing significant damage to the car and the building.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, and is urging anyone who saw any suspicious activity, or who has CCTV footage from the time of the fire, to get in touch.
