PROPOSALS for an ancillary car park in Penrith have been given the green light.
Eden District Council received an application from I Smart Park Ltd for land off Cromwell Road to be used for parking by motorists.
The application statement says: "The applicants do not intend to install ticket machines, instead, notices will be displayed, thereby benefitting from deemed consent, offering parking spaces when pre-paid by telephone."
