NEWLY formed Heddon United have made a good start with two wins from two.
They got off to a flyer in their opening fixture, defeating Benton Con Clubs Reserves by five goals to nil.
In a game in which Adam Henderson impressed, doubles from Jordan Phillips and Darren Jobson, and a strike from Josh Wilson, secured the three points.
Phillips again scored twice as they followed it up with a slender 4-3 victory over AFC Killingworth Reserves, with Brian Thomson and James Henderson also registering and Lee Blackburn starring.
Ben Milner starred for Prudhoe YC Development as they got off to winning ways.
He hit a treble as Prudhoe defeated West End Tigers 5-3, the talented teen powering home a free kick to round off his treble.
He was joined on the scoresheet by Nathan Moore and Joe Glenwright to secure a 5-3 victory on the opening day.
