Following the serious incident of the overturned livestock wagon earlier in the week and the heroics of a Special Constable, it came as no surprise to those of us who know him, that it was Michael Scott.
For over 30 years he has combined his farming tasks with voluntary work as a Special.
Many of us are aware of this commitment to our rural area and a special award from the Chief Constable has recognised this, however surely, a higher recognition of Michael’s contribution is more than a deserved.
