POLICE have put out an appeal after a car was vandalised in Carlisle.

The incident happened this week near the flats on John Robert Gardens.

A spokesman for Cumbria Constabulary said: "We are investigating an incident of criminal damage, that occurred between 4pm on Sunday and 2pm yesterday afternoon, August 11, this occurred near the flats on John Roberts Gardens.

"A Mitsubishi Grandis, parked by the flats, had the drivers wing mirror damaged."

Anyone with information ring police on 101, quoting incident number 147 of August 11.
