A biker was injured in a crash on the A66.
Long queues were affecting traffic on the road yesterday.
A spokesman for Cumbria police said the force was contacted at around 12.20pm on Sunday to reports of a two-vehicle collision at the Threlkeld turn off on the A66.
"Involved in the collision were a Suzuki Estate and a Honda ST motorbike.
"The rider of the motorbike suffered injuries to their shoulder and chest.
"The injuries are not believed to be life threatening."
