GOOD news after plans were lodged to turn empty city centre shop into a takeaway.
Carlisle City Council have received an application to turn the former Castle Framing, in St Albans Row, .
The applicant is a Costel Stoica is who is seeking to "widen use of class from A1 retail to A1 retail as hot food takeaway".
Previously the framing business announced it was to close April 28, during the lockdown - a statement on the door said that the businesses other shop, on Front Street, Brampton, would remain open.
The application was received by the council on July 29 and validated on July 31.
