Road closed after multi-vehicle crash
Emergency services have re-opened the A596 after a three-vehicle crash.
Police were forced to close the road after the smash near High Scales on the busy route.
Traffic has been diverted and a spokesman for Stagecoach said: "The 1.05 Whitehaven to Carlisle will not be operating due to a road traffic collision in Aspatria and the road being closed.
"As soon as the road re-opens we will resume normal service sorry for the inconvenience."
