AN AMATEUR boxing club has now reopened, but with strict guidelines in place to keep members safe.
Adhering to strict safety guidelines, a booking system at Wigton Amateur Boxing Club will see spaces given on a first come, first served basis - though competitive boxers will be given priority.
Capacity for the club is 15 people at any one time, including coaches, and parents will not be allowed in the gym.
On arrival, boxers’ temperatures will be taken, and they should attend ready to train as the changing rooms are only for use of the toilet.
Personal equipment such as gloves must be used, and filling water bottles up is not permitted, so everyone is asked to bring along full bottles.
Bottled water is available to purchase.
Junior sessions are at normal times, 5.30pm to 6.30pm, but the seniors will be at the later time of 6.45pm to 7.45pm.
Seniors will not be allowed to enter the club until all juniors have left and the club has been cleaned.
Anyone who has not booked will be turned away.
Bookings must be made in advance and can be made by messaging the Wigton A.B.C. Facebook page.
