A MAN from Mali will be sharing his experiences at an online Rotary club event,
Odepiare Akuopha, known as Sunny, is a member of Bamako West Rotary Club in the sub Saharan country.
He's been selected by colleagues to be their district governor in 2022-23.
On August 5, from 7.30pm to 9pm he will speak to the Brampton and Longtown Rotary about how Covid-19 has affected life in his country.
According to the Brampton and Longtown club's website: "Colleagues first came across Sunny during the trip in the Pink Ice Cream van by the intrepid team of Rotarians from Upper Eden and Appleby.
"Since then Rotarians, mainly north Cumbria, have supported a number of projects in this poor and terrorism affected part of Africa.
"We have recently given support to a covid-19 Prevention Project.
