Newlaithes Junior School, Carlisle athletics team who were champions at the Carlisle Primary Schools inter-schools sports in 1981
It was great the see the photos from 1981 in Tuesday 7 July paper.
I was in the Newlaithes Junior School athletics team photo. I’m the one holding the cup (Lisa Uren). Then, from left to right, Karen, Sarah Mungall (Penrose), Nicola Barlow and Catherine Clowes (McCombe).
My mum was our teacher at school and would have loved to see this photo but unfortunately she died in May.
We were a great team!
