A HUSBAND and wife duo who have been lifting people's spirits during lockdown have been overwhelmed by the response they have received.

Claire and David Gregson from Aspatria decided to set up an account on the video-sharing network at the start of lockdown to entertain people stuck at home.

Claire, who leads the Harlequin Choir, explained: "Doing Tik Tok has been am enjoyable escape during these difficult times.

"Not being able to go out and help others physically through singing and dancing and raise money for charities through all concerts has been upsetting but Tik Tok has allowed us to use our creativity to continue lifting spirits."

Since starting the videos their fan base has grown hugely – with people now sending in requests.

The duo have been overwhelmed with the response to their page, which has only encouraged them to produce more videos and keep it going.

"We have received such an amazing amount of positive feedback and now have followers from all across the world," continued Mrs Gregson.

"To know during these difficult times that we can make others smile for even just a second makes it all worth wile."

When they first started making the videos the pair didn't expect them to do as well as they have.

Mrs Gregson said: "We never expected it to go as big, so many of our videos have gone viral reaching millions globally.

"Everyday we try and think of new ideas.

"A lot of our videos are magic based but we have also expanded into comical tv, film and music videos such as I'm a Celebrity, the Addams Family and Breakfast at Tiffany's.

"Our music videos have also proved popular from Kate Bush to Dolly Parton, Chryl Cole t Lady Gaga, Reo Speedwagon Christina Perri."

Mr and Mrs Gregson are looking forward to the day they can return to seeing others and once again raise money for different charities.

Mrs Gregson is looking to organise a big concert next year to raise money for the NHS .
