A west Cumbrian man has been ordered to pay compensation to his victim after admitting assault.
Jonathon Keith Stoddart, 28, of Donald Road, Seaton, appeared at the magistrates court in Workington on Tuesday.
He admitted assaulting a man by beating him on December 1 in Workington.
Stoddart must abide by an electronically monitored curfew for 16 weeks and attend up to 14 Rehabilitation Activity Requirement days.
Magistrates ordered him to pay £200 compensation to his victim, as well as £85 court costs and £95 victim surcharge.
