A TEAM of care staff have donated a pair of tablet computers to the Cumberland Infirmary to help keep people keep connected.
Artemis Domiciliary Care donated the iPads to help patients remain in contact with family and friends during the pandemic.
Proud to be able to help, team leader Alan Turnbull said: “We work in a response department and we know how people who are isolated feel.
“By doing this it gives them a chance to keep in contact with loved ones.
“We feel very proud to be able to do something like this. We care for people and respond to alarm systems, so to be able to offer them a little reassurance is important to us.”
