Cumbria's roads policing unit is asking the public to provide dashcam or CCTV footage after a chase led to an arrest in Carlisle.
The Cumbria roads policing unit pursued a black Ford Focus "around Carlisle" shortly before 1am on Wednesday morning.
"We pursued a black Ford Focus around Carlisle before it crashed on Georgian Way," a spokesman for the unit said.
"An arrest has been made.
"We are appealing for any witnesses who saw this and may have dash cam footage or CCTV to contact PC 2157 Hill or PC 2582 Pape."
