PLANS have been approved for a new surgery clinic on a Carlisle industrial estate.
Carlisle City Council planners gave the green light to the application for Site 6 on Rosehill Industrial Estate on Tuesday (June 30).
The vacant office space, formally used by W M Plant, will be used for minor surgical procedures, according to the plans.
The opening hours for the surgery will be 10am until 5pm Monday to Friday and 10am until noon on Saturday.
Planners received the application on May 5.
Submitting the plans was Barrie Ward, who lives in Wetheral.
The proposals will see the existing building used, with one new entrance door to the south west elevation and one new internal partition wall.
No new car parking spaces will be created to facilitate the plan, with 28 spaces already available.
The site will initially be operated by one full-time employee.
