Oak Tree Animals’ Charity has already rehomed these two animals; what follows are their stories and updates:

KINGSLEY

Kingsley came in due to owner illness and he was initially quite shy and scared.

He began to develop really strong bonds with his caseworker and certain volunteers and loved cuddles and fuss. He also loved sitting on his favourite chair and watching the world (read birds) go by.

Kingsley was fostered due to Covid-19 as rehoming had to be temporarily stopped. However, his foster carer ended up falling in love with Kingsley and wanted to adopt him permanently so he never came back after going on foster!

We’ve been receiving regular updates and he is now very happy and contented – he loves spending plenty of time outside during the day, but then comes in for cuddles on the couch with his new owner every evening.

VINNY

Vinny came to Oak Tree as a little puppy and has grown into a confident, handsome dog.

Vinny was soon adopted and we received the following update from his new owners: “We adopted Vinny around September 2018, since then he has massively grown in confidence and is very happy in his home. He’s been on many holidays and had lots of new experiences.

He’s loving life but will always remember his friends from Oak Tree. He tries to visit them every now and then for a cuddle and a play and to visit those who loved him lots and helped him find his forever home with his two daddies!”

We love seeing former four-legged residents when they pop in to say hello, and very much look forward to welcoming visitors again.

All animals from Oak Tree Animals’ Charity have received full behavioural and veterinary assessments, are neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated. Horses are passported.

Dogs and cats rehomed from Oak Tree Animals’ Charity also benefit from four weeks’ free pet insurance.
