Entries are now open for a Carlisle poetry and photography competition.
The Borderlines Carlisle Poetry and Photography competitions are now open for submissions, despite the cancellation of the Borderlines Book Festival being cancelled this year due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.
The theme for this year's competitions is "hope", and any interpretation of this theme is welcome.
There is £250 up for grabs for the first prize winner of the poetry competition, with three runners-up receiving book tokens of £50 or £25.
The first place prize for the photography competition is £100, with two runners-up receiving £25.
The entry fee for each competition is £5. Entries close September 6.
Entries can be submitted via the Borderlines website, borderlinescarlisle.co.uk.
