A POPULAR distillery is set to reopen its doors next month.
With three aspects to organise – the shop, tours and the bistro – The Lakes Distillery says that a two-phased reopening is planned.
July 10 will see the distillery shop open to shoppers again, with safety measures including a limit on numbers, a one-way system, and hand sanitiser stations.
All other areas are set to reopen at the end of the month, with tours and the distillery bistro being open to the public again on July 31.
Tours will be open seven days a week, and will be limited to eight people to allow social distancing.
A smaller menu is being offered at the bistro, due to a reduced number of chefs and other workers in the kitchen, with meals being served between 10am and 6pm.
