Two lanes of the M6 motorway are currently closed following a collision this afternoon.
The collision happened this afternoon on the M6 between junctions 39 and 40, south of Penrith.
Two of the northbound lanes are at present closed, with one northbound lane still open.
Traffic is reportedly heavy along this section of the motorway at the moment.
