A BATTLE of the bands competition has been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The announcement was made by Harraby Community Theatre this week, with the original event planned for July 18.
The Carlisle Battle of the Bands event, which is also run in association with music retailer HMV, has been pushed back to September 5 and will take place at Harraby Community Centre, on Edgehill Road.
The gig aims to showcase up-and-coming bands from the area.
Music starts at 1:30pm and finishes at 10pm with the winner announced at the end.
Nine acts have confirmed.
On September 19, the theatre is also running a Celebration of Simon and Garfunkel event.
Tickets cost £5, plus a 45p booking fee.
