Covid-19 testing is being carried out in another Cumbrian town this week.
A range of locations is being used around the county to encourage people with symptoms of coronavirus to access testing.
And the mobile military testing units are visiting Kirkby Stephen today (June 18) and tomorrow, at Upper Eden RUFC on Westgarth Road.
Major Alan Goodenough, from the Duke of Lancaster’s Regiment, said: “We know people appreciate the opportunity to have a test close to home. We are always busy, but want to ensure more people know about the opportunities so people can access them when they need to.”
Those wanting to be tested for the virus should book an appointment before visiting, at www.nhs.uk/ask-for-a-coronavirus-test.
The unit is set to visit the town again on on June 29-30.
