DRUM and base fans across Cumbria have had their hopes dashed as Rudimental's headline show at Carlisle Racecourse has been cancelled.

The four-piece group had promised a "party" and said they were "hyped" to be heading to Carlisle to play an open-air gig at the Durdar track on July 4.

But it has now been confirmed it is no longer possible to stage the event.

The Jockey Club Live said: "Tickets will be automatically refunded to the account used at point of purchase, and customers can expect to receive funds back in their account in the next 21 days. If the card used is no longer valid email ticketing@thejockeyclub.co.uk."

It thanked customers for their ongoing patience and understanding.

Carlisle Racecourse general manager Molly Dingwall had said they were looking forward to welcoming Rudimental, after the great response to Sigala's hit show in 2019.
