CUMBRIA'S "all settings" coronavirus death toll has risen to 532, new figures show.
Data just released confirms that the number of patients whose lives have been lost at hospitals managed by NHS trusts in Cumbria is now 315.
Of those, 150 were being treated at The Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle and West Cumberland Hospital in Whitehaven.
Both hospitals are run by North Cumbria Integrated Care Foundation Trust.
At the county's south Cumbria NHS trust, University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay Foundation Trust, which runs Furness General Hospital and Westmorland General Hospital in Kendal, the current death toll is 165.
At Cumbria's care homes, officials say the number of deaths is currently estimated to be 217.
That figure is made up of 118 formally confirmed Covid-19 deaths and 99 which are "suspected" but considered by medical experts to be likely to be down to coronavirus.
Public health chiefs point out that the rate of deaths in all settings has tailed off considerably in recent weeks, though there are fears that the virus could return if people fail to observe the necessary social distancing and hygiene that has helped drive down infection rates.
A further seven patients being treated by the North East based NHS trust which runs Carlisle's Carleton Clinic psychiatric facility have also died, but officials have not said where those people were being treated.
