A Carlisle vets practice has announced it is to start providing vaccinations and neutering for pets once again, following a relaxation of the lockdown rules.
Craig Robinson Vets announced yesterday that after a careful review of the new lockdown rules, it was decided that resuming vaccinations and neutering was safe to do so, provided staff and customers follow strict social distancing procedures.
A statement from the practice's management said they were glad to be able to resume such an important service.
"Vaccinations are critically important to the health and welfare of our pets," the statement said.
"We are mindful of government advice on reducing the spread of the virus and your safety and that of our staff is of the upmost importance to us.
"To maintain effective social distancing, we will continue to meet you outside and then take your pet into the building."
