Her lawyer warns her that her past relationships could also come up during the trial, and discovers that Lee hit her.

Of course, Gray knows a thing or two about abusive relationships as he’s currently using a car tracker to monitor Chantelle’s movements. When his wife can’t explain one journey, Gray jumps to the conclusion she’s having an affair, rather than the truth.

Coronation Street (ITV)

After being surprised to hear that Scott used to work with Johnny in the 1970s, Carla is accosted in the loos by Chelsey, a rough-and-ready youngster who was asking Sean about her earlier on. Chelsey claims she knows Carla – but how? And who is she anyway...?

Yasmeen begins to realise just how much Geoff has manipulated her and, to Alya’s delight, decides to plead not guilty. Her other half is enraged, but those he thought he could turn to are beginning to see the light – Sally and Eileen are not convinced by his version of events, making Tim wonder if there might be more to Yasmeen’s story than he thought.

Emmerdale (ITV)

It was only last week that they were attending pub quizzes, but now lockdown has hit Emmerdale – and we’re about to find out how the locals are coping with a series of special episodes. They have been filmed adhering to social distancing rules and using smaller casts.

The first two editions air this week and find Sam being unusually snappy with Lydia. He doesn’t want her to leave the house, even to pick up a click and collect delivery. Is he just worried about Samson, who is stuck on a school trip, or is there something else on his mind?

Meanwhile, Cain is playing the concerned uncle as he’s not only doing lockdown with Aaron, he also takes it upon himself to hide a letter from Robert unless it sends his nephew into an emotional spiral.

Hollyoaks (Channel 4)

Cher returns to Mercedes’ flat, but she isn’t welcomed with open arms by Sylver, who denies being her father – and offers to pay for her silence. But will the arrival of Cher’s mum Kelly change his mind? Or will Mercedes be the one to sling Cher out on her ear when she catches her stealing?

Elsewhere, Mandy feels powerless to deal with Darren’s depression. So, she tries to talk to his GP before calling in extra re-enforcements in the form of Luke.

Home and Away (C5)

Justin and Leah clash over their differing perspectives on Maggie’s affair with Marco, but Justin is secretly pleased to see his lady love returning to her old feisty self. Ben, meanwhile, urges Ziggy not to take her anger and frustration out on her mother. Later, he’s rushed to hospital during what should have been a reconciliatory meal with his wife.

Neighbours (C5)

Naomi tries to remain professional in her dealings with Pierce, but it’s clear she’s still attracted to him. She attempts to quit her job, but Chloe refuses to accept. Paul, meanwhile, discovers the truth about the newcomer’s past.

Elly is released from prison, and Shaun hands Aster over to her. She’s thrilled to see her daughter, but coping with his reappearance is another matter altogether.
