People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt
Tworesidents have each won £1000 in the postcode lottery.
The neighbours, who live on Drawbriggs Court, Appleby, found themselves with the massive win today when their CA16 postcode was announced in People’s Postcode Lottery daily draw.
Judie McCourt, People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador, congratulated the winners.
She said: “I’m thrilled for our winners, what a great surprise for them.
"I hope they enjoy their winnings.”
Charities across the UK receive a portion of the ticket sales - to date more than £500 million has been donated to charities such as Oxfam.
