Special thanks are to be given to volunteers who have helped during the covid-19 pandemic.
As volunteer week approaches plans to celebrate the hard work that has been put into communities is about to start.
Calling the hard-working volunteers from the Kirkby Stephen Community Support group legends is just the start of how Conrad Lynch has described the work being done in the community he said: "We know that covid-19 is having an unfolding impact on many people’s health, wellbeing and livelihoods and that we are all facing different circumstances.
"We also know that recovery from the pandemic will take time and the needs of our community will change, therefore KSCS aims to adapt and respond quickly, so we can continue to offer support where needed. We are so very grateful to every business, group and individual that have been helping us – they are all local legends."
