PROPOSALS to build four homes at a "redundant" agricultural site have been turned down.
Eden District Council rejected plans for the houses at Churnside Farm Shed, Melmerby, Penrith.
According to the council's decision notice, issued May 22: "The proposed development does not constitute an infill or rounding off of development and therefore does not comply with the local development plan policies."
