Traffic was disrupted this afternoon after a bin lorry smashed into a hedge.
It happened at about 1.30pm at a roundabout near Lillyhall, Workington.
The lorry crashed into a lamp post and ended up in the bushes.
A spokesman for the police said: "We were called at 1.30pm following a report of a bin lorry having left the road and collided with a lamp post before colliding with a hedge.
"Incident occurred near the roundabout in the vicinity of the industrial estate."
No one is believed to be injured.
