Plans have been revealed for a barn to be converted into a children’s soft play area.
Castlerigg Farm Camping and Caravan Site had already submitted an application for a similar project at its Keswick premises, however now it wants to amend the plans.
An application submitted to the Lake District National Park’s planning department revealed the project would see the entire top floor of the barn being turned into a soft play area with toilets, reception and a children’s party room.
The ground floor would be altered to relocate the existing cafe as well as creating a storage area and staff accommodation.
The project at the Rakefoot Lane premises would also see part of the road inside the campsite widened to create and unloading area, as well as staff parking.
