A Cumbrian mountain rescue team has thanked supporters for snapping up their branded merchandise.

Wasdale Mountain Rescue recently put the £30 packs up for sale to raise badly-needed funds, but have already nearly sold out.

A spokesman for the organisation said: “We have created a supporters' bundle that we were planning to sell at fundraising events over the summer.

"As these have all now been cancelled, we are now able to offer this pack for sale directly.

“We will re-stock as soon as we can.”

The pack includes a 400ml reusable bamboo eco cup, cotton tote bag, neck scarf/headwear, car sticker and an enamel pin badge.
